AML Launches the First Ever Broadcast Journalism Course in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Academy for Media Learning (AML), an innovative and new generation media learning and production center, launched an innovative course exclusively for broad cast media at its campus in Samanta Vihar, Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

The first of its kind in Odisha, the course was launched by Sri Arun Sahu, Hon’ble Minister, I & PR, Energy, Govt of Odisha.

On this occasion, Sri Sahu praised the very attempt by Team AML for all the effort put to set up such a well equipped institute for media.

“The growing trend and demand of media sector and scarcity of specialized training experts for TV media, is one of the reasons behind starting this venture in Odisha and definitely, AML will serve the state in producing quality media professionals in future” said, Sri Nilambar Rath, Director and CEO of AML.

The orientation programme of the first batch of Diploma and P G Diploma courses was also organised at the AML campus.

In addition, with an intension to demonstrate the third-eye expressions, a rare photo collection of seven Bhubaneswar based photo journalists named “Media Clicks” was exhibited. Photos of Asit Ku Satapathy, Laxmikant Das, Biswa Ranjan Rout, Jitendra Kumar Mohanty, Biswa Ranjan Mishra, Arabinda Mahapatra & Bhabani Prasad Das were exhibited at the exhibition.

Apart from this a modern and well equipped professional AV Studio along with the newly designed official website of AML was also inaugurated on this occasion.

Among others, Ollywood superstar Akash Dasnayak, Ashok Mahapatra, Chief of Bureau, MBC TV graced the occasion as guests.
